Well I'm guessing she doesn't believe it when Superman tells her what's happened. She sees this (Kryptonian word for clown dressed like a relative only it's no relative SHE'S ever seen. She probably thinks its a plot against either her father or mother (one or both being some high muckymuck) and this "Superman" is using her as a pawn. The obviously fake planet with its blue sky and a "yellow sun" that doesn't even hurt her eyes, (a yellow sun being brighter than a red one), and somehow gives her "super powers." Preposterous.
Then again maybe she thinks he made fun of her boots.
Whatever the case I am looking forward to seeing this. I hope to pick up issue one today.
awesome cover i don't like superman (the character) but this image make whant to read the comic also think supergirl costume is very nice and your art too, congrats to you an your colorist in the small preview i think was a watercolor awesome work.
It's always fun to see Kara kick Kal-El's ass, even in pointlessly over-detailed costumes. Seriously, what's with the upside-down V things on Supergirl's thighs? Great cover though, looks like traditional media.
