Ok Ok I'll believe you. Recently I had to draw some views of New Orleans and man I hated the city. Google the French Quarter, it's all fancy ironwork... but at least I didn't have rows upon rows of windows because it's all short buildings...
I absolutely love your depiction of Supergirl. You really give her a strong look, but at the same time she's still very feminine and beautiful. Her anatomy works so well and the emotion you manage to portray through her facial expressions suits her perfectly.
ur chick isn't particularly buff, im just saying i dont know anyone into buff 40 year olds with abs and shoulders.. which is what mainstream comics seem to love drawing.. josh middleton is the rare exception
I think I have to repeat; Most people complain that women in comics are over-sexualized, too idealistic and that they are made to cater to a male readership. If, as you say, women in comics were muscular instead of idealized I think more women would be happy about the medium.
