Not possible. I haven't read Marvel in years, so I don't know Logan's current circumstances. But he's lost his mutant ability, been hacked near to death, continued to be the bad ass that he is, and still managed to survive. I have a comic from the 80s where (with the help of a power crystal (because f**k it, it's the 80s)) he regenerates from a single drop of blood. Not only is it not possible for him to die because he's Wolverine, but he's also an X-Man; Marvel once killed off the entire team and then brought them back to life via "magic". One writer might kill him off, but the next one will revive him and have him living off in West Africa, taking down war lords of something.
Yeeeaaah... Suppose you haven't read this, then. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansite… I'm not saying it'll be permanent. The Editorial staff are daft, not retarded. And I'm far too skeptical of this killing and resurrection in comics as of late.
I remain skeptical. Killing off their most popular character in a dramatic 4 part series is pretty profitable, but leaving him dead isn't. Just ask DC when they killed off Superman in the 90s. They tried to replace him with a variety of characters for quite a while actually, but still, they brought him back to life eventually. Jean Grey (and incarnations of her character such as Madelyn Prior-Summers and Rachel Summers) has died and come back to life on at least 3 different occasions, they don't call her the Phoenix for nothing.
