What I Was Up To In My Absence
The last couple of months were probably the busiest in my entire career in comics. The workload probably wasn't that big a deal but I've had to juggle so many projects and I think I suck at multitasking.
As I've mentioned I've done the Gladiator story for Marvel. Right after that I've done my first ever work for DC on a cover and some sequentials, which was incredibly fun. I can't wait to share those with you.
I've done another small Marvel gig after these which I'll tell you about later. All the while I've done some sketch cards while trying not to get too far behind on my Dynamo 5 duties.
Oh! Yeah, I've done a cover for Zenescope too. Turned out pretty nicely even if I say so myself.

Can't wait to share these stuff with you.

About The Favourite Publisher Poll
Thanks for voting on that, guys. Much appreciated. I noticed the results are more of less reflective of the comics sales figures of today.
Personally I voted for Image Comics (duh) myself. I feel Image is probably ideologically the best publisher out there. Yet as a reader I don't have any faourite publishers as a reader anymore. I'd probably say Marvel ten years back but nowadays I don't read as many comics as I used to. I think I read mostly Vertigo and DC books. Mainly I follow books because of the creative team.
Other than that I do try to read all sorts that I hear is good. So this might look a little hypocritical for making you choose a fave but the publisher doesn't really make a difference for me. :)

On The Shelves Now;

  • Mood: Relief
  • Listening to: Poison The Well
  • Reading: The Authority
  • Watching: TV On Mute

Yeah, it'll be out sometime relatively soon. Can't believe we're already 3 TPBs in on the series. Feels nice.

i have to admit, Image is the best company for creators still, but I gotta run with Marvel and DC, they are the funnest books or me right now. I can't front though, I've been reading more stuff that isn't marvel and dc as of late, I am trying to catch up on Y the last man, the Boys and walking dead, so I guess I am reading mainstream underground stuff lol

i cant imagine dude, thats alot of work.
all that stuff along with the sketchcards is crazy!!! how many sketchcards did you do? was it the justice league?
and when you do them do you actually draw them all or draw so many and just lightbox the rest?
i ask because i just did some and it was alot of work. very fun but alot. and you had all that other stuff going on. i talked to some other guys and some lightboxed and some didn't. so with your busy schedule that would be a feat. well done sir
